Job Description: Odyssey House is looking for a Director of Administration to join our family of experienced professionals who make our residential and outpatient treatment programs unique and successful. Odyssey House is dedicated to helping individuals and families reclaim their lives through effective substance abuse treatment, prevention, and mental health services. Odyssey House operates multiple substance use disorder and mental health treatment facilities and programs, serving hundreds of clients daily and employing over 250 employees. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Administration is responsible for the following:

Human resources: Oversees all HR functions for the agency including hiring, terminations, licensing, contracting, benefit management, etc.;
Credentialing: Manages private insurance credentialing for the agency and health clinic and manages credentialing for behavioral health and medical providers;
Licensing and Compliance: Oversees governmental licensing and compliance, including Utah Department of Human Services, Salt Lake County Department of Health, local fire authorities, and maintain The Joint Commission accreditation;
Information Technology: Manages IT staff and budgets, including hardware, software and communication systems;
Facilities: Oversees 16 facilities and programs, managing repairs, maintenance, facilities staff, and budgeting
Administrative duties: Manages Policy & Procedure, Personnel Manual and privacy law (HIPAA/ 42CFR 2) compliance

JOB CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will possess the following:
The ability to excel autonomously in a fast paced, demanding, and dynamic work environment;
The ability to successfully manage a team of competent professionals in HR, Facilities and IT;
The ability to address new challenges with confidence and poise; and
The ability to effectively work as a team player alongside highly-skilled clinicians and administrators.

REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
Successfully pass a criminal background screen and post-hire drug screen;
Possess a bachelor’s degree in business management, organizational management, or similar field. An advanced degree is preferred; and
Have at least 5 years of experience in business administration as a Director of Administration, Director of HR, Director of Facilities, COO, or similar position.
