Position Summary: Utah Valley Refugees Accountant is responsible for managing both income and expense reports, and reimbursements, as well as entering financial transactions into our internal databases (QuickBooks) and reconciling bank and invoices. Help prepare monthly/quarterly/ or annual financial reports and reports to the board of directors, and perform other duties as assigned
Primary Responsibilities: Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.

Create and update expense reports.

Process reimbursement forms.

Enter financial transactions into internal databases.

Send out monthly receipts and year-end tax statements.

Work closely with grant writers to develop grant budgets.
Desired Qualifications: A high school diploma or a bachelor’s degree in accounting or experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

In addition to the above qualifications, this position requires:
● Proficiency using Microsoft and excel spreadsheets
● Knowledge of using QuickBooks
