Job Description: The Kimball Art Center seeks a candidate who is inquisitive, innovative, strategic, solution-oriented,
collaborative and inspired by our mission, vision and values. We are looking for a creative, talented and
experienced Marketing Manager to provide ongoing digital and traditional marketing direction and support. The Marketing Manager manages and develops strategic marketing and brand campaigns and is responsible for promotions for the Kimball’s offerings around education, exhibitions, events and development. This person is responsible for collaborating with all key staff to plan, organize and implement marketing and communications functions. The Marketing Manager takes a leadership role in developing and expanding new campaigns, establishing best practices and measurements and will play an integral role in promoting the Kimball’s future growth.

• Develop and implement overall marketing campaigns across all departments (education, exhibitions,
events, development).
• Responsible for implementing and enforcing brand standards for the Kimball and partners.
• Manage direct marketing programs, including marketing plan development, segmentation and
messaging strategy, as well as vendor selection.
• Manage and execute media buys and media partners.
• Manage and direct creative for all marketing collateral and advertising campaigns such as brochures,
postcards, member invitations, print and out-of-home ads and event signage.
• Manage all digital marketing responsibilities, such as websites, CMR, database, e-newsletters.
• Direct, collaborate and execute on social media content and strategy.
• Manage and direct graphic designer to develop on-brand marketing materials.
• Manage and direct PR Manager to streamline communication efforts.
• Manage Marketing & Volunteer Coordinator for all duties outside of volunteer programming.
• Work with Development on membership retention, recognition, acquisition programs and assisting with grant and sponsor proposals and fulfillment.
• Develop and execute the marketing plans for the Park City Kimball Arts Festival and the annual Gala,
the Kimball’s two largest annual fundraisers, plus other events.
• Develop and implement analytical tools to measure and interpret marketing programs.

• Determine, allocate, monitor and assist with the overall marketing budget, especially the Kimball Arts
• Create and meet departmental budget goals, provide needed information for financial reporting and
grant writing.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with events and facility rentals, fundraising
activities, exhibition openings and others.

• Hire and supervise staff, interns and consultants as required.
• Orient and train staff to further the Kimball’s mission and values, highlighting process, learning
opportunities and professional development.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three or more years of experience in marketing management or marketing operations role.
• Supervisory and budget management experience.
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent multiple projects.
• Professional experience with social media.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable interacting with internal colleagues and
external constituents.
• Ability to work closely and collaboratively with co-workers; demonstrate initiative and self-motivation.
• Computer literacy required (Microsoft Office suite, etc.).
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Strong problem-solving skill set.
• Ability to work independently at times, but also collaboratively.
• Applicants must be present and available to work in the planning stages and execution of the annual
Park City Kimball Arts Festival and Gala (August 2-5, 2018).
• Applicant must have reliable means of transportation.
• Flexible schedule, with the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Web Designer.

This job operates in a professional office environment, off site venues and outside event areas in various
weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and AV equipment. Some ladder use may be requested. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Evening, weekend and occasional holiday hours will be required for event support.
