The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation’s social channels and contribute to the execution of daily content creation and community engagement. .This position will be tasked with accelerating the brand vision for the Young Living Foundation’s growth and engagement on social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and LinkedIn accounts with an emphasis on storytelling, creating engaging content, and building our following. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the nonprofit/social impact sector, a track record of building social communities and is experienced with the Adobe Creative Suite. The individual should also be adept at leveraging data and analytics to continue to refine and optimize the content strategy and drive performance.
Primary Responsibilities: - Design and implement social media strategy to align with marketing goals
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content
This includes crafting and planning content, finding engaging and applicable photos, posting, tracking posts across various social media platforms
- Creating original text, creating videos for IGTV, instastories, grid videos, etc.
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure the following:
YLF Brand consistency
Pertinent partnership and program representation
Brand partner representation
- Moderate user-generated content and develop social conversations among our audience
- Suggest and implement new elements to deepen engagement like promotions and collaborations
- Stay current with all social media industry developments and best practices and provide ongoing insights to Foundation Leadership Team
- Foster relationships with YLEO corporate channels and get reoccurring presence on pages and social media events (education pages, Drops of Valor calls, etc.)
- Follow and foster relationships with international social market leads (in conjunction with communications manager and YLF programs country lead)
- Provide analytics and suggestions on findings on all social and communication channels
- Define best practices and operations across all channels
Desired Qualifications: - Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Skilled in writing and editing
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Trello, Hootsuite, Sprout Social and other webmaster tools
Knowledge of the basics of photography, including composition, aperture, ISO, and F-stops
- Skilled in social media marketing
- Skilled in visual communication and an eye for brand aesthetics
- Ability to think against the grain and find creative solutions
- Proven ability in brand storytelling
- Proven ability managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, in English, advertising, communications, or related area
- Three to five years’ experience in social media marketing
