Job Summary: CONNECT Summit County is looking for an experienced fundraising professional to create, manage, and grow our annual fundraising program. The ideal candidate will have experience building a fundraising program and is a good communicator over a variety of mediums, highly organized and donor centric.

Our mission is to create a well-informed, stigma-free community with access to mental health resources for all. We do this work through nimble and grassroots tactics. Primary Responsibilities: •Developing and implementing all aspects of CONNECT Summit County’s annual fundraising.
•Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors in partnership with the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
•Use our donor data system (NeonCRM) and ensure organization-wide consistent usage.
•Strategize and coordinate donor communications including newsletters, mailings, annual update, and more with support staff.
•Oversee all communications including signature programs like May Mental Health Awareness Month and annual anti-stigma campaign to ensure a consistent brand and message strategy that builds knowledge of and relationships with CONNECT Summit County.
•Design and execute the following development programs - this includes staff development/supervision in these areas, responsibility for content (reviews and updates), data collection and reporting for impact/outcomes and guiding the strategic direction.
oConvert Mental Health Awareness Month into a revenue stream through the use of sponsorships
oLive PC Give PC day-of giving to CONNECT Summit County
oDonor events, with support from the Event Logistics Coordinator
oIdeation and creation of an annual fundraising event
oLeverage the brand building opportunity of anti-stigma campaign
Desired Qualifications: •Experience creating and implementing an effective fund development and communication plan.
•High degree of self-motivation and initiative.
•Ability to step into a leadership role; flexibility; detail-oriented; patience; and organizational ability.
•Ability to multi-task among competing priorities.
•Excellent written and oral communications skills
•Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
•Ability to delegate effectively.
