Job Description: People's Health Clinic is looking for a part time Development Assistant. This position is a key member of the development team and responsible for supporting a full range of development and marketing activities for the organization. Primary responsibilities include: management of social media platforms, websites and newsletters, creating content for internal and external communications, fundraising and social event planning and assisting the Development Director.

Qualifications:
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related field a plus
• Must have passion for the mission, be results-oriented and embrace working in a family-like culture and environment
• Experience with donor management software or comparable CRM tool a must
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and writing skills, communicating with clarity and attunement to audience
• Comfortable with technology and at ease experimenting with new media; adept at using WordPress, MS Office, mainstream social media sites, and other common platforms.
• Able to build and maintain long-term relationships with people of diverse backgrounds, cultures and perspectives
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound professional judgement
• Equally able to work in a team and with volunteers
• Experience in fundraising, writing/communications, marketing, public relations, or related field preferred
• Project management and/or creative event planning is a plus

Hours per week: 28 – Monday through Thursday preferred, 7 hours per day but flexible. Must be available for Clinic events.
