Salary: $85,000-$95,000 DOE

Girl Scouts of Utah is actively hiring a Vice President of Philanthropy/Development. The selected individual will be responsible for cultivating a culture of philanthropy within the Girl Scouts of Utah council. This will include assuring the organization's corporate culture, systems and procedures support fund development. The VP of Development focuses externally on donor cultivation solicitation and stewardship.

Additionally, the will be responsible for managing the council's Fund Development Team, coordinating fundraising campaigns, and identifying potential sources of funds (including individuals, foundations, corporations, annual giving, planned giving, and United Way, etc.). The Vice President of Development will lead all stewardship and donor management.

The VP of Development provides professional expertise and support to the Fund Development Committee of the council's Board of Directors in initiating goals and plans to meet the council's financial goals and objectives. The VP of Development is accountable for establishing and implementing strategies to achieve goals that are in keeping with council's best practices and ethical standards, policies, and guidelines.

The VP of Development participates in the process of setting the organization's strategic direction and short and long-term plans while translating the vision and corporate goals set by the council's Board of Directors into effective operational actions.
