Job Summary: The EveryDay Support Assistant Coordinator is responsible to directly oversee and implement the physical and virtual year-round VITA program sites in Utah, Wasatch, and Summit counties and to assist in the development and refinement of volunteer management in other initiatives including Sub-for-Santa, and Digital Inclusion. Typically the Assistant’s hours will be split 50/50 between the two. The Assistant will work with partners to coordinate the resources intended to assist those affected by the economic impact of Covid-19. The Assistant will ensure all VITA sites meet IRS standards, follow all site operating procedures, and assist the EveryDay Support Coordinator (EDS-C) in implementing year-round VITA.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Some early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays may occasionally be required.

Physical Activity: While performing this job, the incumbent typically spends time sitting, walking, standing, listening, speaking, writing, and operating a personal computer. Frequently, he/she will be required to drive an automobile to attend meetings or events within the community. Occasionally, he/she is expected to lift and carry office records and supplies up to 15 lbs. Bachelor’s degree preferred in social services or human services related field or minimum of 2 years related experience in human service, non-profit, or other related field
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite with the ability to learn new software applications
Proficient English and Spanish verbal and written skills preferred
Spanish-speaking helpful
Valid Utah Driver’s License
Access to a personal vehicle for use during work hours
