Salary: $40,000 - $45,000
Job Description: At the Utah Technology Council, we celebrate and support the growth of the innovation community. We're excited to hire an Assessment, Placement and Monitoring Specialist to help place apprenticeship program applicants find the best apprenticeship fit. This position is full time, with a start date of no later than April 1st.

Be the first and primary point of contact for Apprenticeship Program Applicants :
-Field inquiries into the program
-Reach out as applications are received and follow-up as needed
-Be applicants shepherd through the Apprenti assessment program.

Support applicants through all stages of the Apprenticeship Program process:
-Keep in contact and answer needs through assessment
-Help determine proper apprenticeship program placements
-Keep in regular communications with apprentices throughout the educational and apprenticeship portions of the program

Direct the assessment portion of the apprenticeship program:
-Be the lead staffer on Apprenti software management
-Work with Director of Programs and Apprenticeships on accomplishing apprenticeship program placement metrics
-Work side by side with community partners to help identify best potential applicants

Monitor the status of all Apprenticeship Program participants:
-Regularly monitor status of apprentices in education and apprentice stages of program
-Work with community, educational and business partners to support Apprenticeship Program participants as needed
-Help manage Apprenticeship Program participants internal communications and programming

Jump in with both feet:
-You will provide direct support to the Director of Programs and Apprenticeships in managing a new and developing program to place people with non-traditional tech sector backgrounds into life changing assessment, education, and apprenticeship work.
-Be ready to perform other job duties as assigned

-High school diploma or equivalent
-Familiarity with CRMs
-An ability to follow, track, and land leads
-Comfort with interacting with individuals from a variety of life experiences
-Be reliable and trustworthy with confidential information
-Knowledge and interest of the Information Technology field
-HR and/or education experience a plus, but not required
-Prior experience handling office responsibilities
-Willingness to take on new challenges
