The Safety Net Coordinator will manage the JFS Emergency Food Pantry. In addition maintaining inventory and assisting visitors with obtaining food from the pantry, this role includes assisting individuals and families who visit the pantry in accessing other programs and services they could benefit from, including assistance in enrolling in SNAP (food stamps) and referrals to other services in the community.

We are seeking someone with good people skills, as well as organizational skills. The ability to manage volunteers, interact with other agencies, and maintain records are all integral parts of this position. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Position is 15-20 hours a week.

Status: Part-Time
