This position is eligible for a partial remote schedule. The annual salary for this position starts at $32,000 and may go up from there depending on candidate qualifications. Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision: Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading., Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

Primary Responsibilities: Job Summary/Basic Function:

This position manages the day-to-day operation of the Development Office by providing support to the Executive Director of Development and back up assistance to the VP of University Advancement office. Maintains confidentiality in working with private/sensitive information. Works with the University Advancement Events Coordinator and Development Directors in support of events and projects. Interacts with and provide appropriate information to members of the university community, university donors, and general public. Responsible for expense processing and budget tracking including, not limited to monthly p-card and budget reconciliation. Supervises a student intern.
Desired Qualifications: Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of full-time related experience that includes administrative support.
• Experience and proficiency with the latest versions of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, mail merges, internet searches, database maintenance, email, and preparation of data spreadsheets.

Preferred Qualifications:

Seeking applicants with the ability to perform office administrative duties and work with confidential and/or sensitive information. High level of professional judgement and confidentiality, ability to interact effectively with executive level administrators, donors, alumni, and other internal and external stakeholders. Highly developed organizational skills. Strong ability to take initiative and work independently while also contributing to a positive team environment. Ability to prioritize, follow through and meet deadlines on varied and multi-faceted projects. Ability to work well under pressure. Detail oriented. Accurate record keeping skills. English, grammar, proof-reading and editing skills. Knowledge of university systems, procedures and organization is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills in person and by phone with high professionalism. Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision. Strong customer service ethic.
