Position Summary: House of Hope, established in 1946, for the treatment of substance use disorders (SUD) and behavioral health services for women and their families is actively seeking to add full and part-time clinical counseling positions to our SLC team! Whether you are just graduating with your master’s degree and focused on getting experience for licensure or are an experienced clinician who is seeking a new challenge, we have an opening that may be just what you are looking for as your next professional adventure!
Primary Responsibilities: What is special about House of Hope? As the oldest SUD program in Utah, the program’s mission is to help women and families recover from the devastation of addiction and heal from past traumas. Staff are focused on helping each woman obtain the insight, skills and resources that–added to the strengths she already has–can help her create a healthy, self-sufficient future in recovery. With services offered in four SLC residences, a main office and outpatient program, the Hope Center for Children and a Provo campus—services are individualized to the needs of each family and interventions are based on best practices in SUD treatment. The residential programs are designed to be small (up to 16 women per residence) with only 12 women per caseload so that the therapeutic alliance is stronger, and therapists are very familiar with each client’s needs throughout the continuum of care.
Desired Qualifications: Full-time Women’s Therapist (Residential), M-F, 8:30-5 pm, occasional evenings based on scheduling and expertise of clinician, competitive wage based on licensure and experience with generous benefits package, monthly on-call duties with additional stipend, 32 paid days off in first year with the combination of holidays, vacation and sick days. 401(k) after one year at 5% dollar for dollar match. NEW FOR FULL TIME THERAPISTS!!! Hire on bonus of $1000, may be eligible for college loan repayment, $2000 annual incentive bonus, $1000 training stipend.

Part-time Women’s Therapist (Residential & Outpatient), M-F, 28-36 hours between 8:30-2:30 pm; competitive wage based on licensure and experience, partial benefits, to work in all programs including residential and outpatient services based on census. 401(k) after one year at 5% dollar for dollar match. NEW FOR Part TIME THERAPISTS!!! Hire on bonus of $750, may be eligible for college loan repayment, $1500 annual incentive bonus, $750 training stipend.
Benefits / Why Work With Us: House of Hope’s clinical model is based on collaboration between staff and departments, so direct care requirements are lower than any other program. Most importantly, House of Hope believes in strengthening families and specializes in family reunification. Women may bring young children into treatment in the Parents Programs so children’s needs and parenting services can be offered concurrently. Since allied agencies include corrections, courts, the Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) and many other domestic violence, mental health and medical services, therapists gain comprehensive experience in most domains of the human services system of Utah.
