This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Food Services Manager. We are seeking an individual with the desire to learn and grow within a property management setting, who will ensure a high standard of cleanliness and customer service skills and is committed to an employer who will invest into your future through training and opportunity.
Primary Responsibilities: Requirements
Overview of Responsibilities:

Oversee all operations of the Dining Room
Meet regularly with Food Service Manager to keep an open line of communication.
Complete any other jobs, projects and duties as specified by Food Service Manager and/or Property Manager.
Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook.

Meal Preparation and Food Production:

Help to oversee that food is being served to residents sanitarily, properly and efficiently.
Work with individual residents and Food Service Manager when specific dietary needs.
Assist with food planning and preparing for special occasions/socials.
Turn in a Feedback sheet to Food Service Manager for feedback on daily meals
Let Food Service Manager know of any food product or supplies needed.


Supervise all dining room staff.
Oversee scheduling of dining room staff.
Approve time cards and time off for dining room staff.
Be available for questions, concerns and to handle issues of staff.
Discipline, evaluate, supervise dining room staff on their job performances.
Train dining room staff in order to allow them to perform their jobs efficiently.
Always assure the safety of Residents and staff.
Help conduct regular staff meetings to discuss current concerns and/or issues.
See that accurate meal charges, meal counts, etc are being taken and turned into the office in a timely manner.
Fill in wherever need when shortages in staff occur to assure daily operations are handled.
Hire and train new servers. Follow all new hire procedures according to company policy and see that all servers have Food Handlers Permit prior to working.

Cleanliness and Sanitation:

Assure that the serving area and dining room are being properly cleaned and maintained at all times.
Implement and oversee daily cleaning tasks for servers.
See that health department food handling guidelines are implemented and followed by dining room staff.
Oversee all servers have a current food handlers permit.
Report any equipment problems to Maintenance immediately.
Desired Qualifications: Prior experience in food service. Prior leadership and supervisory experience. Prior customer service experience.
