are proud to be the people’s voice for mental health in Summit County.
Organization's Race, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion Statement and Work: The impacts of oppression and racial trauma have a deep impact on mental health. CONNECT Summit County is committed to addressing gaps in mental health resources for marginalized communities. As part of our mission, we will work to illuminate the inequality and lack of cultural competency in mental health treatment. We will actively engage in our own learning and advocate for a shift in disparity regarding access to competent mental health care for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) in our community. CONNECT Summit County stands in solidarity.

In 2020, we committed to diversity, equity and inclusion by dedicating 20-30% of our resources to reaching the Spanish-speaking community. We launched our Spanish-speaking Peer Navigation Line, and collected stories and testimonials from Spanish-speaking individuals.
