Job Summary: The Road Home seeks employees that have a deep commitment to the mission of serving adults and families that are experiencing homelessness. The Housing Supervisor will work within a homeless shelter system that provides emergency shelter to over 1,000 individuals nightly, and permanent supportive housing to over 1,700 individuals each day. The Housing Supervisor will provide supervision and oversight to Team Leads and Housing Case Managers that provide Housing First, Trauma-Informed services within a Progressive Engagement framework to formerly homeless families and individuals. This position oversees three programs that serve 200+ households each month.

• Housing First for Individuals – Supports individuals with a history of chronic homelessness to access and maintain long-term housing.
• House 20 – Supports individuals with a high number of shelter nights and high interactions with emergency services to access and maintain housing.
• Family Assistance and Support Team – Intensive Rapid Re-housing program that supports families with heads of household who struggle with behavioral health disorders and who have previously received short-term assistance to access and maintain housing. The Housing Supervisor serves as Project Director for this program.
Primary Responsibilities: Supervision
1. Supervise Housing Team Leads
a. Provide weekly supervision sessions
b. Provide case consultation and informal mentoring
c. Encourage training and development opportunities
d. Support each Team Lead and their teams to comply with program regulations (ex: maintain vouchers, stay current on budget projections, etc.)
2. Ensure best practices are implemented and adhered to
a. Housing First
b. Trauma Informed Care
c. RRH and PSH programmatic and case management standards

Administration
1. Train and orient new staff.
2. Hire and oversee Team Leads. Assist with hiring of Case Managers as necessary.
3. Provide administrative oversight for all programmatic requirements, including a deep knowledge of housing vouchers, reporting requirements and outcomes.
4. Ensure that administrative processes (monthly incomes, re-certifications, rents, etc.) run smoothly and efficiently.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with key partner agencies.
6. Attend internal and external stakeholder meetings and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders.
7. Coordinate with Housing Administration Team to ensure fulfillment of permanent vouchers and rapid rehousing opportunities.
8. Ensure that monthly and quarterly reports/assessments are updated and submitted in a timely manner.
9. Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that quarterly benchmarks and KPIs are met for grant compliance.
10. Communicate regularly with the Director of Supportive Housing Services on all aspects of program operations.
11. Other duties as assigned.

1. Observe emerging trends for program participants and within the homeless service sector. Proactively engage in problem solving and programmatic change.
2. Be aware of process inefficiencies and engage in quality improvement.
3. Special projects as assigned.
Desired Qualifications: Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology or related field required.
Master’s Degree and mental health license required.

Ability to lift 25 pounds
Ability to walk and stand for at least an hour at a time
