Organization's Mission: The mission of the Alf Engen Ski Museum is to preserve the rich history of skiing in the Intermountain Region by providing a world class facility which highlights the many contributions made in ski area development, athletic competition, snow safety, ski innovation and ski teaching methods.

Our mission to preserve the history of skiing starts with the education of all socioeconomic backgrounds, races, ethnicities, and genders.

We are dedicated to achieving our goals of creating a diverse and inclusive environment and experience at the Alf Engen Ski Museum. To begin, we plan to inspire, educate, and support a diverse community by introducing a new rotating exhibit, Diversity in Skiing. The exhibit will feature athletes, artists, individuals, and more in the Intermountain Region and beyond, who are the epitome of diversity in skiing.

By formulating specific action plans to succeed in these goals, the Alf Engen Ski Museum will strive to lead locally and nationally in all aspects of diversity and inclusion practices in museums, as well as ski and Olympic history.
Position Summary: The museum hosts approximately 500,000 visitors per year from all over the state, nation, and world. It is a fun, energetic atmosphere with unlimited potential to meet new people and associate with outgoing colleagues.
Primary Responsibilities: Oversee operation of the ski museum:
• Operate interactive museum exhibits and process payments.
• Verbally provide information to visitors that supports the mission of the Alf Engen Ski Museum.
• Ensure museum exhibits are clean and functioning properly.
• Various exhibit maintenance tasks.
• Other tasks associated with the museum as needed.
Desired Qualifications: Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to visitors.
• Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude towards the mission of the Alf Engen Ski Museum.
• Ability to give attention to detail.
Benefits / Why Work With Us:  Shifts are between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm, 7 days a week. Various hours are available, as is a flexible work schedule
 $14 per hour + 4% commission on exhibit sales/ average pay is $20-$24/ per hour
