Nonprofit Day on the Hill

Join us February 26, 2015 for Nonprofit Day on the Hill.

On Thursday, February 26, nonprofit organizations will gather at the Capitol to educate and advocate for their respective organizations. For the past seven years, the Utah Nonprofits Association has organized this event to educate Utah's policy makers on the breadth and depth of Utah's social sector, to help our members understand the importance of their voice in the policy making process and to provide training on how to make your voice heard!

Participant organizations meet in the rotunda with informational displays about their organizations. Collectively we are recognized in the State House and Senate. After a brief tour and orientation, members have an opportunity to "lobby"; meeting with their state senators and representatives to share their missions, goals and messages.

The cost to attend Nonprofit Day on the Hill is $60 for Members/$120 for Non-Members and includes attendance for 2 people at the Advocacy 101 Training at 2:00pm on February 12th (See below for more information). If you have never spoken to your legislators before, attending this training is required.

If you are a member, please remember to login to the website prior to registering in order to receive the discounted price.
