Able-differently promotes a self-help model that serves school and younger age children and their families with special health care needs, who have not had success with typical forms of intervention. We support parents solving problems themselves with participation in family centered community partnerships such as with schools, medical homes and mental health systems. Families can then focus on building positive child-family, and cultural-community exchanges in responsive and contingent ways that fosters new opportunities and achievements.

Cache Valley Unitarian Universalists

Cache Valley Unitarian Universalists is a religiously liberal, welcoming community united in a responsible search for knowledge and spiritual growth. Bound by no dogma or creed, Cache Valley Unitarian Universalists value and promote peace, liberty, social justice, and environmental sustainability through personal, community, and global action. In the tradition of Unitarian Universalists who came before us, we the youth and adults of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Cache Valley, strive to be a caring religious community that encourages and supports the sharing of ideas and experiences of all who travel rich and varied spiritual paths.

Casino Star Theatre Foundation

The Casino Star Theatre Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization that serves the residents of Gunnison Valley and the surrounding areas with a variety of wholesome live and film entertainment in a fully restored historic theatre. The Foundation also contributes to the economic health, public arts programs, and Main Street beautification of the community.

Community Action Partnership of Utah

Community Action Partnership of Utah (CAP Utah) is the statewide association for Utah's nine Community Action Agencies. The Community Action network envisions an end to poverty in Utah. Our member agencies work toward this vision every day by providing services to low-income families and individuals across the state.


DonorConnect (formerly Intermountain Donor Services), headquartered in the Salt Lake City area, is the federally designated, nonprofit community service organization dedicated to the recovery and transplantation of organs and tissues for Utah, southeastern Idaho, western Wyoming, and Elko, Nevada. Our service area encompasses more than 3.9 million residents, 90+ hospitals, and three transplant centers – Primary Children’s Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center, and University of Utah Hospital (along with the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center).

Egyptian Theatre

The Egyptian Theatre is a community asset dedicated to enriching lives through the performing arts. The Egyptian Theatre provides the community with high-quality entertainment experiences, both on and off its stage, in an historic and authentic atmosphere that is friendly, socially-welcoming, and slightly irreverent. We seek to impress all audiences while remaining fiscally responsible and as a viable source of live entertainment for future generations.

Envision Utah

To understand Utahns' hopes for the future, we engage residents through values research, surveys, workshops and mapping exercises, interviews, and many other public outreach methods. We take that baseline knowledge of what Utahns value and work with the public, experts, and other stakeholders to create voluntary, locally-implemented, market-based solutions to achieve the future Utahns want.

The Mission of Junior Achievement is to inspire and Prepare Young People to Succeed in a Global Economy. Junior Achievement believes that every child has promise. We give kids from all walks of life an opportunity to expand their vision and realize their potential through practical skills in financial literacy, innovative thinking and workplace readiness.

Mundi Project

Actively breaking down socioeconomic & generational barriers by providing quality music experiences for all. Our desire is to increase access to classes, performances, and instruments across the socio-economic and generational spectrums. We seek to empower our participants to find their voices and gain confidence as they work with others learning instruments and performing.

Nomad Alliance

Compassion in action for our people on the street. A 501(c)3 registered nonprofit, the Nomad Alliance is a group of concerned citizens working together and with public and private partnership to end homelessness and proffer hope, by providing warmth, nourishment, shelter, employment and healing to the nomad/unsheltered population.

Oasis Housing Inc.

Oasis Housing saves and changes the lives of high-risk individuals with mental illness by providing transitional and permanent housing with onsite supportive services.

Pretty Tough Ladies

Pretty Tough Ladies helps not only women who have survived and escaped domestic violence, but also women struggling with Mental health, Recovery, divorces, child custody battles, and poverty. PTL helps women and also children of all ages, with clothing, shoes, and hygiene items while also providing resources including mental health support groups.

Project Connection

Project Connection is meeting our community’s mental health challenges head-on by helping individuals move through shame and trauma to create a more connected, wholehearted society. We provide the therapy and care people need to connect with others, with their communities, with their passions and with their stories.

Rural Utah Project

The Rural Utah Project seeks to empower underrepresented voters in rural Utah through training, education, voter registration, and issue advocacy. We identify, invest, and ignite a dialogue with voters that live in Utah's rural areas, empowering them to take action and vote on the issues that matter most to Utah's future. We believe that when we organize overlooked communities in our state, that we will be able to inspire important conversations and create life-long citizen advocates for Utah's future.

Salt Lake Film Society

We educate, advocate, and inform about –and through– cinema. We promote diversity through film exhibitions and creations. We foster film talent and cultivate film appreciation and participation. Our programs and venues ensure that the potent ideas and voices of the film are accessible to everyone in our community.

Story Crossroads

Story Crossroads gathers and unifies people and organizations across generations and cultures to celebrate the art of story. The specific objectives and purposes of this organization shall be: A. To provide instruction in the art of story creation and storytelling to all ages; B. To create opportunities for community members – youth to seniors – as well as professional story artists to perform for the public such as, though not limited to, festivals, house concerts, audio, video, film and other performing venues; C. To broaden knowledge with, for, by and inclusive of different cultures on the art of story with the general public; D. To sponsor, host and/or participate in events and activities that promote the art of story development and storytelling.

Sundance Institute

Founded by Robert Redford in 1981 with the mission of fostering new voices in American storytelling, the nonprofit Sundance Institute is a champion and curator of stories for the stage and screen. Today, our staff of 180 employees works year-round to offer 25 residential labs, grants exceeding $3 million, and ongoing mentorships that support more than 900 artists each year. Each January, the Sundance Film Festival brings artists and audiences together for the premieres of groundbreaking work, and year-round, the Institute hosts a variety of public programs to amplify original voices, inspire new ideas, and rally our community in support of independent storytelling.

The Refuge Utah

For 36 years The Refuge has provided a safe, caring, and therapeutic environment to assist in the recovery of survivors of domestic violence, rape, sexual assault, and stalking. Its goal is to facilitate healing and to advocate for victims with the intent to decrease the incidence of such violence in the community.

Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants

The Utah Association of CPAs is a 501c(6) non-profit individual membership association for Certified Public Accountants. Our membership is comprised of approximately 3,000 CPAs and affiliate members, most of whom live in Utah, and serve in public accounting, business and management, government, and education. The UACPA Leadership supports and challenges members through advocacy, professional education, leadership development, networking, and community service, to help them succeed in a competitive and changing world.

The Utah Black Chamber was initially founded in 2009 by our Founder and President, James Jackson III to design a creative hub for black entrepreneurs, minority business owners, and their allies to build a network of community, resources, and funds that help the advancement of all minority-owned businesses; more specifically black-owned ventures.
