Advocacy and civic engagement creates social capital and supports deeper connections across our communities. Political scientists and sociologists link the decline of community with an increase in the problems that you and other nonprofits are trying to resolve. But the flip side of that is also true: strengthening our connections to one another is how we restore the sense that we are in this together. Social capital supports community health.
We hope you can join us for the UNA Credential in Advocacy and Civic Engagement later this month. The course brings you up to speed on how to develop this work and coaches you through implementing what you've learned. Interested? Register as soon as you can because enrollment is limited.
