Our Privacy Policy

The Utah Nonprofits Association (UNA) places a high priority on protecting your privacy. This privacy policy was created in order to demonstrate UNA’s firm commitment to the privacy of our members and website users. This policy explains what types of information is collected by our website, and how this information is used. UNA does not actively gather information on you when you visit our website.

What Personally Identifiable Information UNA Collects
Individuals who either join UNA on-line or register for our training seminars using our online forms voluntarily provide us with contact information (such as name, address, phone, name, title, and e-mail address). We may use this information for specific, limited purposes, within UNA and with our partners who offer similar, non-commercial resources to the nonprofit community If you process your membership or register for a paid UNA event on-line with a credit card, only our processing partner, Stripe.com, and not UNA, receives this information solely to process your charges.

Remove Your Private Information
At your request, UNA will remove any and all identifiable data related to your personal relationship with UNA. This includes, but is not limited to your name and your contact information. Please email info@utahnonprofits.com with the subject line, “Delete My Personal Information”.

IP addresses
UNA’s host server uses your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and for statistical metrics used to track website visitor traffic.

Some Websites may save a "cookie" on your computer's hard disk to provide a temporary history of actions taken. Our Website does not retain any record of these "cookies”.

Use by Minors
UNA services are not directed to individuals under the age of thirteen (13).

How Your Information May Be Used
We use your personal information to provide you with personalized service, to send e-mail alerts to you, to answer your requests, to process your membership application, etc. You may choose to opt out at any time, which will cease all communications from us. We may also use your information to track visitors to our website. This lets us see which of our features are the most popular so we can better serve our users' needs. It also lets us provide aggregate data about our traffic (not identifying you personally, but showing how many visitors used which features, for example) to outside parties.

E-Mail Privacy
UNA does not sell or rent any collected e-mail addresses to anyone outside the organization. Any group communications will come directly from UNA to those who choose to be on our e-mail lists. You may always "opt out," either now or at any time in the future, if you do not wish to receive our messages. Simply send an email with ‘Opt Out’ as the subject to info@utahnonprofits.org

External Links
www.utahnonprofits.org includes links to external websites. These websites may operate differently from UNA and may have their own privacy notice or policies. We strongly encourage you to review their privacy notices or policies. If any links do not fall under the utahnonprofits.org domain, we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Jurisdiction-Specific Provisions
If you are a California resident and subject to certain limits under California law, you may ask UNA to provide you with both a list of personal data that we have shared with our partners and the identity of those parties. To make this request, please email info@utahnonprofits.org.

We may amend this privacy policy from time to time; please review it periodically. We maintain the option to modify this privacy at any time by electronic notice posted on our website. Your continued use of our website after the date that such notices are posted will be deemed to be your agreement to the changed terms.
