Every two years, UNA compiles and reports on nonprofit compensation and benefits data from organizations across the state. This data helps decision makers create competitive staffing and strategic plans in line with sector trends in Utah. The impacts for nonprofits are more equitable wage policies, competitive benefits, and salaries that support employee retention. 

This report is 100% local—made for Utah nonprofits, by Utah nonprofits. As such, it offers a more accurate picture of the Beehive State’s nonprofit landscape than large, national surveys. All 501(c) organizations are encouraged to participate; you do not have to be a UNA member to take the survey!

The information you share will be kept anonymous and aggregated with responses from nonprofits across the state. Once the data is collected, compiled, and analyzed, we will make the 2024 Compensation and Benefits Report available. 

All current nonprofit members of UNA have received a custom survey link. Please check with your executive and/or human resources leadership to confirm receipt. Community nonprofits who are not yet members of UNA can take the survey here. After completing the pre-survey form, you will receive a custom survey link via email. Please note, only one response is needed per organization. 

UNA nonprofit members who complete the survey will receive a complimentary copy of the report. Community members who complete the survey will be able to purchase the report at a deeply discounted member rate ($99).
