Breakout Session: Cost Effective Essentials for Retaining Volunteers and Cultivating Their Impact

Tate Becker is the CFO of Project Embrace. He got involved because of his own personal struggles with health care. He's a former college athlete who played semi-pro in Europe where his potential career in the sport was decimated by way of very rare hip injuries. Through these life experiences he learned how important the need was for healthcare, as well as, the ability to have access to medical equipment that would alleviate the issues of immobility. Tate holds a Masters in Accounting, through which he hopes to change how people think about how investment in people to live their best lives is a better way to spend money than by giving tax cuts to people and corporations.
