Salary: $14-$15/hour
Job Description: Spend your time in a facility where the work you perform makes a difference in the lives of our clients. We have a full-time, PAID position available at our Center for Women and Children in Murray, Utah. We provide shelter, food, and case management services for women detoxing from substance abuse. Women may bring in children up to age 9 to stay with them.
• Prepare and serve meals for 30 clients and staff; provide nutritious snacks to clients and children.
• Oversee food storage and food handling practices to maintain the areas according to safe food handling regulations.
• Develop menu plans.
• Coordinate all food and kitchen purchases with the Program Director.
• Supervise and teach assigned clients in the food service area.
• Operate within the budget for food service.
• High School diploma/GED,
• 6 mos. institutional experience.
• 1 year of experience in food service for large groups preferred.
• Safe Serve Certification - may be obtained after employment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Compassion and patience.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Valid drivers license and good driving record.
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
