Job Description: Job Summary
Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor works with the Director of Special Projects and other department supervisors to prioritize and coordinate agency programs to ensure that practices and results of data quality improvement or review techniques are in place. The goal will be to move all grant, program, and process to the highest reasonable level of efficiency based on best practice standards from stakeholder guidelines. The QA Supervisor engages in research related to federal regulations, conducts frequent internal audits, reconciles data across multiple systems, maintains records, and completes internal reports. This team leader will supervise two QA specialists and determine prioritized work tasks and oversee their interactions with agency team members. This position requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new tasks. This passionate self starter will work for an agency that is both the state’s largest nonprofit housing provider and the state’s largest homeless shelter where assistance is provided to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with Director of Special Projects in ensuring program fidelity, documentation accuracy, and interdepartmental collaboration
2. Become an expert in all related program guidelines and expectations and maintain that efficiency by monitoring any updates to guidelines and providing feedback to the appropriate teams to meet new expectations
3. Supervise a team of four QA specialists who will assist teams in meeting QA standards
4. Supervise the drafting, review, and submission of all required governmental contract reports
5. Collaborate with Director of Special Projects and Director of Housing and Impact in the review and monitoring of grant-based performance measures
6. Draft agency procedures as each department needs to guarantee appropriate expectations in practice and output
7. Coordinate and support on-site audits/monitorings conducted by external providers then evaluate concerns/findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
8. Collect and analyze data to include in internal reports
9. Complete and distribute data quality feedback mechanisms to appropriate departments, including file audits and data completeness evaluations
10. Work with the Director of Special Projects and the Director of Housing and Impact to identify training needs and develop training interventions to meet quality standards,
11. Maintain an organized filing system and develop mechanisms to improve existing systems
12. Ensure that processes are efficient, streamlined, and mission-focused
13. Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) required
Experience working with diverse populations preferred
Minimum of one year supervisory experience, preferred

Skills and Requirements
1. Familiarity with HUD programs
2. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations
3. Excellent writing and documentation skills
4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access or other database systems
5. Willing to be a proactive member of a team
6. Able to communicate effectively and handle difficult situations with professionalism, compassion and from a Trauma-Informed Care perspective.
