Job Description: Part-time position 28-30 hours per week with the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome (NCSBS) for an applicant who can take, pick, package and ship customer orders, receive and record incoming materials, and accurately count and maintain physical inventory levels. Applicants should have excellent organizational skills with an ability to communicate via multiple channels. This position requires frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching at any time during a typical work day. Applicant should be able to meet the physical demands of this position.

Starting salary is $18/hr. There is no benefits package available for this position.

Primary Responsibilities
• Receive, process and fulfill customer orders.
• Receive, verify and record incoming materials for multiple warehouses.
• Maintain and accurately control inventory levels.
• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure physical inventory in balance with accounting system.
• Move packages and items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Process and organize paperwork including invoices, sales orders and daily sales reports.
• Periodically reconcile customer payment with Financial Controller.
• Research and provide cost estimates for shipping and materials.
• Manage online store customer orders and shipping process.
• Serve as contact for shipping vendors and customer third-party fulfillment representatives.
• Maintain shipping supplies.
• Respond to customer inquiries.
• Maintain a professional and friendly tone on the phone.
• Coordinate a schedule with frequently changing priorities.

• Experience with inventory control.
• Experience packaging and shipping orders.
• Experience working with UPS and USPS.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Sage 100 accounting software preferred but not required.
• Superior organization skills.
• Strong work ethic with ability to work in isolation for extended periods of time.
• U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the U.S.
